G. Forchino - A Sunday Drive
Sculpture description: "Today we're really going to have fun, we're going for a nice car ride", said an extremely happy Fernando, to his children on this lovely Sunday afternoon. "No, I'm not going. No. No. And No!" cried his daughter. "Me neither, I want to watch TV!", groaned his eldest son. "And me, I'm going to play football with my friends!", said the youngest crying. "You're coming whether you like it or not!! If I say that we're going to have fun, we're going to have fun! And you, Grandma, you're coming too!", howled the father. Grandma, without saying a word, with rollers in her hair, climbed first into the car. The three children followed, arms crossed and pouting. His wife had prepared sandwiches, and took some fruit and drinks for the occasion. Fernando, told himself that they were going to pass a lovely day together and that for nothing in the world would he miss these charming Sunday drives.
